South African Signs

I'm feeling lazy and non.. or is it uncreative in writing mode. I've cruised Facebook to catch up on the goings on at the village pump and there wasn't! I posted a few comments but these have to be rather bland or if you are really lazy the 'Like' button can be pushed. As Facebook doesn't provide a 'Don't Like' button I felt somewhat inhibited.

Not even a coded message or two on the table to decipher.

I then pondered the 'Poke' button and wondered what it is for. We all knew at primary school that to 'poke' a girlfriend was rude but exciting. Since FB is an American thing and they have an insular understanding of English I'm assuming that they think it means something quite innocuous. In that land men are named 'Randy' and say 'Hi I'm Randy' without any overt declaration of intent. However I can't wait to see something like 'Joe poked Mary' on the news feed. Good One! What’s her phone number?
