1984 Has Come and Gone - or Has It?

Every so often a post appears on Facebook warning of dire (but unspecified) consequences of your telephone number - and that of your friends - appearing in the depths of the site. My own telephone number has appeared in the old fashioned phone book for 40 years and in the electronic white pages for the last ten without problems.  Is Facebook likely to be different?


Oh...and don't forget to turn off Geo-Tagging on your Blackberry.  They may be keeping track of you!
